Activation
Activate your license
Your DTF Pilot license key is one key for your whole account — it activates the builder on your store and (if you subscribe) the desktop app. Here's how to activate each.
🟪 WooCommerce store
- Sign up (free) at dtfpilot.com/signup — your license key is shown instantly and emailed to you.
- Download the plugin from Download → WooCommerce.
- In WP Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload the ZIP and click Activate.
- Go to Gang Sheets → Settings and paste your license key, then Save. The plugin checks in with DTF Pilot and your store's domain is activated automatically — no extra step.
- Add the gang-sheet builder to a product and you're live. Your store domain now appears under Store(s) in your account.
One key can run several stores up to your plan's allowance — each store activates itself the same way. If you ever move the key to a new domain, it re-binds on the next check-in.
🟩 Shopify store
- Install the DTF Pilot app from the Shopify App Store (link on the Download page).
- That's it — installation creates your DTF Pilot account and activates your store automatically. No key to copy or paste.
- Add the builder block to a product template in your theme and you're selling gang sheets.
- Manage credit, plan and the desktop subscription from the app's Manage account button (it signs you into your DTF Pilot account).
🖥️ Desktop app — GangSheet Builder Pro (macOS)
The desktop app is a separate subscription. Buy it on its own or alongside the web builder — same account, same key.
- Subscribe on the Pricing page (monthly or yearly), or from your account → Plan & billing → Desktop app if you already have an account.
- Download and install GangSheet Builder Pro for macOS from the Download page.
- Open the app. When it asks for a license, paste your DTF Pilot license key (the same one from your account) and click Activate.
- The app registers this Mac against your subscription's seat limit. Use it on up to the number of computers your subscription includes; to move a seat, click Deactivate on a machine you no longer use.
The app checks your subscription online at launch and works offline for a grace period after. If a subscription lapses, the app returns to demo mode (watermarked exports) until you renew.
